My Kids Academy is a privately-owned family business with family management values that have been serving families across Australia for over 25 years.
With a caring and dedicated approach to children and families, our team brings a state-of-the-art facility and progressive education framework to the Mackay Region that provides a comfortable and safe learning environment for children.
We have a brand new range of age-appropriate toys, games, and equipment to ensure that children are engaged and challenged at every stage. Our outdoor play area features a range of sensory equipment, including sandpits, slides, playscapes and nature elements, that provide children with opportunities to explore and develop their physical skills.
We understand that leaving your child in the care of others can be challenging, which is why we offer regular updates on your child’s progress and wellbeing through our daily parent communication channel. We believe that transparent communication is key to creating trust between parents and our team.
Our mission is to provide a safe and caring space for children to learn and grow, while fostering their natural curiosity and love of learning. With that in mind, our facilities and programs are designed to encourage exploration and discovery, while also promoting physical activity and healthy living.
Our experienced and qualified educators are passionate about early childhood education and are dedicated to providing the best possible care and education to each child. All of our educators have either completed or are working towards:
> Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
> Bachelor Qualified Early Childhood Teacher
> Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
We also believe in ongoing professional development and support our educators stay up to date with the latest research and best practices in early childhood education. All our educators hold a Blue Card, Working with Children check, and current First Aid Certificate.
At My Kids Academy, we are committed to promoting healthy eating habits and providing children with the knowledge and skills they need to make healthy food choices for life.
Our Nutrition Program follows the Australian Dietary Guidelines to provide children with a balanced and nutritious seasonal diet that meets their daily requirements and supports their physical, cognitive, and emotional development.
Our menu is carefully planned and prepared by our experienced chef, who use only the freshest and highest quality ingredients, with a range of fun flavours and textures that cater to even the fussiest of eaters.
